Meet Sajish, a construction worker from Karachi, Pakistan. He works 9 to 12 hrs a day and earns far less than what a pinoy bar waiter takes home per month. He has no iphone 6, no facebook, no credit card, no jack daniels on weekends, no expensive jordan shoes, and doesn't eat steak in filthy restos.
When i asked him casually, "how do you live so simple and not complaining about a difficult work?" His answer was simple, "I will not stay here in Dubai in another 5 years. After i paid my 2-storey house in full, my 2 hectares of corn land, and my tractor, I will go home and live with my family."
Life's best lessons abroad are often heard from and shared by simple people who less complain about work. Dubai, just like any other rich cities in the universe, is a temporary shelter for hardworking people who earn less but with big dreams for their families.
